A Website Your College Can Keep Current

NCTE recognition orders call for an institution's own website, a link to NCTE and up-to-date mandatory disclosure. We build the public site and publishing workflow around the documents your college verifies.

NCTE information area

A clear location for the current disclosure and the documents your institution is required to publish.

Course and admissions pages

Explain B.Ed programmes, approved intake, admissions, fees and contact details from your verified records.

Document update workflow

Give authorised staff a practical way to replace outdated documents and check public links.

What We Can Build for Your B.Ed College

A public website has to be useful to applicants and manageable for the college office. The institution supplies and approves every regulatory fact; WGT designs the pages, links and publishing process.

A public institutional website

Responsive pages for your college, programmes, faculty, facilities, admissions and contact information, based on material your office approves.

A findable disclosure section

Link to NCTE and organise the current disclosure and supporting files. The exact publication list comes from your recognition order and current instructions.

A maintained document library

Keep official files easy to open on phones and make changes visible without leaving obsolete versions in the main navigation.

What your institution should prepare

  • Current NCTE recognition order and any later conditions
  • Approved programme, intake, faculty and facilities information
  • Admissions, fee and contact details, plus documents authorised for publication

Keeping the website current

Assign a staff owner to each disclosure section. Review it when recognition conditions, staff, fees or documents change; test every public file link after an update. Technical support can be quoted separately.

Regulatory reference: NCTE regulations and recognition orders, B.Ed recognition order example. Check the current text and your institution's own conditions before publication.

B.ED WEBSITE GUIDE

A Clear Website for Applicants and Regulators

The public site should answer a student’s practical questions while giving the college a reliable way to keep approved information current. Here is how we plan that work without treating every institution’s order as identical.

Why a B.Ed college needs a dependable public website

The NCTE framework addresses the institution website separately from information supplied to the regulator. Regulation 7(14)(i) of the 2014 recognition regulations describes an applicant institution launching its own website after its letter of intent, with links to NCTE and the relevant regional office. Recognition orders may continue website and disclosure conditions after recognition.

For prospective students, the same site is also the practical place to check the programme, approved intake, admissions information and the college office’s current contact details. An easy-to-find public section is more useful than a collection of unnamed files.

What belongs in the NCTE information area?

Regulation 7(14)(i) identifies categories such as sanctioned programmes and intake, faculty and staff, student admissions, fees, infrastructure and library resources. Regulation 8(6) addresses an affidavit copy, while 8(14) calls for current mandatory disclosure in the prescribed format. These provisions have different purposes; a college should compare them with its own recognition order and any later conditions.

WGT can organise approved information into readable pages and linked documents. The college must decide which records and personal details it is authorised to publish, provide the current prescribed format, and approve the final public copy. A generic template copied from another institution is not a safe substitute.

Make the website useful during admissions

A B.Ed applicant should quickly find the course duration, eligibility and admission route the college actually offers, current fees, intake, academic contact and directions. If the college has more than one teacher-education programme, give each a clearly labelled page so a visitor does not confuse a two-year B.Ed. course with an integrated programme.

A responsive layout, readable PDFs, descriptive links and a simple enquiry path help visitors using a phone. Admission forms or online fee collection can be scoped separately when the institution wants them; they are not implied by the NCTE website rule.

Plan updates before the launch

Disclosure quality depends on the college’s publishing process. Assign an owner for each section, retain the approved source for a changed fee or staff record, and review public links after replacing a document. The website should make the current version obvious to a visitor without presenting obsolete files as current.

We can audit an existing site, repair its navigation and document library, or build a new site around institution-approved material. A proposal should identify the required pages, migration work, search and hosting needs, training, and the level of technical maintenance the college wants.

For the source-by-source explanation, read the NCTE website requirements guide. Your institution should confirm its own current conditions before it publishes regulatory records.
